MWRA's workshops are offered to members free of charge and to non-members at a minimal fee. They are a great opportunity to get continuing education (and thus fulfill the requirements of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources for your continuing education credits), and also offer a chance to network with other Maryland rehabilitators, find a master rehabilitator to apprentice with, and otherwise share experiences and find advice with problems. We urge you to participate in these workshops, whether you are an experienced wildlife rehabilitator or are looking to become a wildlife rehabilitator.

The MWRA class held on Saturday, November 17, 2007 was an unqualified success. That was due in part to the beautifull view of the Bay and three excellent speakers. MWRA and its member wish to thank Dr. Pat Kein, of Maryland,  Andrea Howey of Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research in Delaware and Peggy Hentz from Red Creek Wildlife Center in Pennsylvania. They all gave informative presentations and we thank them for sharing their knowledge with us.
