MWRA Workshops
MWRA's workshops are offered to members free of charge and to non-members at a minimal fee. They are a great opportunity to get continuing education (and thus fulfill the requirements of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources for your continuing education credits), and also offer a chance to network with other Maryland rehabilitators, find a master rehabilitator to apprentice with, and otherwise share experiences and find advice with problems. We urge you to participate in these workshops, whether you are an experienced wildlife rehabilitator or are looking to become a wildlife rehabilitator.
MWRA is planning to hold its annual fall classes on October 30, 2010 at the Patuxent Center. We have interesting speakers and topics lined up. We hope you can attend. Registration forms will be going out very soon.
Also, the Wildlife Center of Virginia will be holding its annual "Call of the Wild" Conference on November 13 - 14, 2010 in Waynesboro, Virginia. Please check their website for additional information here.
Also, below you will find links to other organizations offering workshops that are approved by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources for the CE credits required for Maryland wildlife rehabilitators. Please check out these websites if you are not able to attend MWRA's workshops and need additional CE credits for your permit.
SPECIAL NOTE: MWRA urges all members with e-mails to keep MWRA updated of any changes in your e-mail address so we can keep you updated. Use the quick link below at "E-mail MWRA."
